Why This Site Exists
Fountain Valley does not have one master people-records database. The Fountain Valley City Clerk handles municipal records and California Public Records Act requests. Orange County Clerk-Recorder maintains RecorderWorks for recorded documents and marriage-related services. Orange County Superior Court handles court files. The Assessor, Registrar of Voters, Health Care Agency, Sheriff, Archives, and state agencies each keep their own systems. We bring those source paths together and explain what each office can and cannot provide.
What Is Included
- Record-type pages: public records, voter registration records, and people directories
- Official custodians: Fountain Valley City Clerk, Orange County Clerk-Recorder, Orange County Superior Court, Assessor, Registrar of Voters, and vital-record offices
- Research routes: name searches, property trails, court category access, archive collections, and directory sources
- Access limits: California Public Records Act rules, restricted court categories, voter confidentiality, vital-copy eligibility, and custodian verification
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We are not part of Fountain Valley, Orange County, California, any court, or any records custodian. Important limits apply:
- We cannot retrieve, certify, change, or delete government records for you
- We cannot verify whether a named person lives in Fountain Valley
- We cannot remove records from official offices or outside databases
